Experience, The Best Teacher?

Experience is not the best teacher.

The best teacher you have is yourself because learning starts...

...when you realize that you can commit mistakes.

...when you accept the fact that not everyone around you thinks and does as you do.

...when you believe without reservation that you do not know everything.

Is it wisdom to experience so many failures in life and never learn from any of them?

Can you say experience is the best teacher when you commit the same mistakes all over again?

Does being old mean you have more and are more experienced?

Experience means nothing. Age means nothing.

The endless acknowledgment of your failures, and the humility to change your ways: that is learning.
